June 15, 2017 - Interesting in my town

Our annual carnival is probably one of the most interesting events that happens here. It is a very quiet, rural little borough for most of the year, but every July we have a carnival for a week and it is a very well attended carnival for such a small town out on the fringe of any place more populated. It is full of music, lights, rides, games, carnival treats galore, prizes, and friends and neighbors from far and wide converging in this small place to have fun, relax, visit and enjoy the sense of community. So this is an archive pic with a fresh edit. I took this in 2014 and I think it is still my favorite pic from our carnival, because I loved how the lights/colors looked beyond the prize fishy.

Everything about it is cool. It perfectly represents the carnival.

This really does evoke the feeling of a small town carnival. Great shot.

This made me laugh at first... exceptional capture of the poor little goldfish in a bag which immediately reminds me of being at the carnival when I was a kid. The colors, lights and shapes in the background are wonderful! fav

Ah the old goldfish in a baggie. How many of them ever live longer than a few days?
