as seen through the telescope

last night's... er, this morning's lunar eclipse observed through an 8" schmidt-cassegrain telescope. unfortunately for me, i couldn't get the entire disc in one frame.

i used a nikon d80 with a t-ring and t-mount adapter to attach the camera to an 8" schmidt cassegrain telescope.
astrophotography is not just for folks with dslr's. there are adapters that you can use to mount a point-and-shoot camera to a telescope.
