Tom Fool's Tree by motherjane

Tom Fool's Tree

This tree is a minimum of 500 years old and sits majestically at Muncaster Castle. Behind it is what has been described as "the finest view in all of England" - the Eskdale valley. I, however am absolutely hopeless at landscapes so here is the tree!
What an incredible tree, love the shape. Wonderful shot.

I don't think you could have gone wrong with the landscape but the tree is nice too with a twist.

Fantastic tree and I am struggling with landscapes as well. Somehow they never quite match up to the view!
