This was growing over the side of a bridge wall and it was a little tricky leaning over. I still haven't found a comfortable strap for my camera so at present am using nothing. I was conscious that the 70-200 on the 70d was a bit heavy for leaning over, in the wind, with no proper grip.
Great one! I used to use a wrist strap and just carry my camera in my hand, which has given me "tennis elbow." Very annoying. I now have an across-the-chest strap and my camera hangs at my side. I still hold onto it so it doesn't jounce about, but it takes the strain off. I try not to lift my camera with my dominant hand, too, and use the non-dominant hand for lots of support. Can't stand a camera hanging around my neck! UGH! ;)
Ooh yes keep a tight grip! You are always taking odd angles to get your shots, would be terrible to drop it over the side! This one is a perfect macro with lovely dof!
