This is an Australian native tree that can live up to 200 years old. And seeing we're not sure exactly how old this one is, I can't tell you how long it's been here. But I do know the council wasn't allowed to move it when the shopping centre was built.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
It's one of my favourite things to look at while waiting at the bus station at the Logan Central Plaza. Even in the rain, this tree looks spectacular and nobody seems to notice it.
We've had a lot of rain lately and so it's looking very green and healthy too. Sometimes they can lose a lot of leaves to conserve water in the trunk; as sometimes these trees are called water trees too. They are also found in Africa.
