Victor2

When you take the front panel off, this is what you see. Isn't it gorgeous?
Yes it is gorgeous! I love the way you can watch it 'working'. Not too many mechanical devices around these days and this one plays music too!

When my piano tuner, Martin, pulled the board off, his mouth dropped. He said when the pins are like this, it means the piano was built in the 1920's. I did my research and found out the Victor pianos that were built by Paling & Company were built between 1915 and 1929... mine was built sometime then. After Martin was finished with her, it plays so well and beautifully!

Great shot Lyn - reminds me of when Mum used to get it tuned when i was little.
I used to be amazed that all that was behind the front panel & was the working part of it!
