The Ron Mueck Exhibition at the GoMA

Yesterday, I went into Brisbane City and visited the most wonderful exhibition of Ron Mueck! A lot of his work was of nudes; but there were some of clothed people... and so, I walked around the place twice and took a lot of photos (so long we didn't use the flash, it was permitted and encouraged!)

I saw a hat exhibition at the Queensland Art Gallery where there weren't any photos allowed... but this one was the one I came into the city to see.
The lower right is kind of freaky. Looks like and interesting exhibition. I was an art student at one time, but I never really enjoyed going to art museums until this year (took me almost 49 years to get here) when I went to the Art Institute in Chicago. I think that I might try it again sometime.

The lower right one is called 'The Mask'. And it turned me off once I looked at it from the back, but does make for an interesting photo.

@ Aunty Helen: Well worth the visit to GoMA... it's only $10 for adults. And take your camera; but leave the flash off; photography is encouraged!

Some of it will touch a nerve, some of it is beautiful, some of it will make you think.
