I've been looking around for a new swing for Little Miss Stevie as her old one has a rusty top. Rust for a bird isn't good to consume; so after much hunting around, this was the only one I could find at a pet store. She didn't like it all afternoon.
Then, last night, she climbed on and went to sleep for a little while. This morning, I pulled the covers up to find her dozing on the swing quite comfortably. and after breakfast, she rushed back to it! I think she love it.
UPDATE: Wednesday afternoon: I turned off the internet and computer and went downstairs to close up the house to find that my little bird had been a busy bird. She chewed halfway through the right arm of the swing (as you're looking at it) and unhooked on of the hooks. Cheeky bird!
Now, she's got her old swing back in and she's happier than she was with the new one.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
What a strong personality she has (given what you wrote!) I haven't had a budgie since I was about 7 but I just adore them. Unfortunately now, I'm away too much to be a good companion. I always enjoy seeing Little Miss Stevie here...she's our 365 parakeet!
Oh... thank you everyone for all you lovely comments.
Louise: I'm so touched by what you've written. I've been hoping that Little Miss Stevie gets herself a name on here as much as she does in her life. I do love her very much and she is certainly a character (as you all have seen in April when I made her the theme). Thank you again. :D
