My Teddy's Hangin' Around. by mozette

My Teddy's Hangin' Around.

This is dear little bear - Amos - the other day after a wash. I wash him once a year in Spring; usually on a hot day so he dries well.

Amos was a bought when I was working full-time at RACQ from The Endeavour Foundation for a little bit of money. He wasn't one of the toys shown to us; instead being the neglected one at the bottom of the bag the lady told me was 'the one nobody wanted'. So, I took the runt of the litter and took him home.
Since then, he's been on holidays to Brunswick Heads, in and out of hospitals and around the world to the UK with me too. Yes... this is a very well-traveled little bear. He's getting a little tattered now, but still likes to live the high life as he went to the Sunshine Coast with Mum and me in May this year.
Hello Amos! I see you're getting a bit of fresh air there.
Nice & fresh again! :D

What a sweet little bear! Does he enjoy hanging on the line by one ear? lol Looks like being the one "nobody wanted" has turned out to be in his favor! Great shot!

My cat's name is Amos and he was also the unwanted runt of the family that no one cared to adopt until I came along! I love this photo, great work :)

@Carolyn: Not really... but it's the best one to get him dry by as it's very flexible. And the other day, it was so warm, I thought it was time to wash him in the tubs; and then spin him a little in washing machine to get the excess water out of him. :)

Thank you all for your lovely comments. I have had Amos in my life for a very long time and he's been a great comfort to me when my health hasn't been the best. Now, he's just here to keep me company at night... :)
