Last night, Mum, Dad and I were at Gabe and Kat's place for dinner. Riley was there and Gabe cooked a veggie curry over and open fire in the back yard. What a great meal it was - even if it was a little smoky - however, the end result out-rated the smoke hands-down!
What a great night! Riley and I drew a little, I gave her a the first book of 'The Vampire Academies' (as I know some of the girls at school next year will be reading it) and we caught up as she tried to do a 'fishtail' in my hair and we both got the giggles as she kept dropping the parts of my hair she had use. it was hilarious!
We left at around midnight. Once home, I thought to have a shower as I felt the smoke from the fire not only got into my eyes, but also in my clothes and on my skin. My feet were filthy too. Felt so much better for it when I woke this morning.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
