Yesterday, I was out for the afternoon at the next workshop for the Collections Exhibition. We had a bus trip into the Brisbane Art Gallery and Museum. This was to show us how we could display our art in different ways.
But it was lunch first for about half an hour at a lovely little cafe we found nearby and then we got into our workshop of drawing our collections with our eyes closed. Then, we drew them upside down... a great time was had by all.
I took plenty of photos, but the main ones were these ones. And even though it was a cold day, I had a great time. :D
Now, I have all these fantastic ideas for my collection and I can't wait until tomorrow for when the Thrift Shop opens and I get in and buy some books there and tear them apart to start on my project. :D

@digitalrn yeah, I have... it still has to work within the other people's ideas as well. So, what I'm doing is as much fun as theirs and not a separate piece of work.
I do look forward to working on some of my pieces here at home. :D
@digitalrn@loey5150 thank you both for your lovely comments. We did have one lady drop out suddenly when our workshop was almost over. She just felt she couldn't do anything worthy with her collection that could be shown. No matter what we suggested - from photography to photo-copying her treasures for a different effect - she just plainly refused to listen to any of us... so she got Kevin (our curator) to stop the bus on Park Road and let her out. It was really strange as she was really cold about it all...

Personally, if she didn't want to do it, that was her; but really she was missing out on creating something great with other people. But... it wasn't my place to say that or push her into doing something she didn't wish to do.
