I had a suspicion that one of my neighbours was trimming my trees out the front of my house without my permission for years... and now I have proof.
The photo on the left is from December last year. The one on the right is just this morning. Just look at the growth!
I had told the neighbour I suspected to stop trimming my trees and she told me she didn't do it; but I said that she was going around the trimming other people's in the complex (which she was) and she had to stop doing that. I said I can look after my own place without anyone's help and that I have wanted them to grow tall for a reason. That main reason was to get myself some privacy by making them grow over the window a little.
Now, they look great and healthy. I'm hoping to train them with garden stakes to sit straighter as they grow taller and thicker.
I grew these from cuttings about 10 years ago; and they're still growing strong. The stone in the middle is from a neighbour who moved out some years ago who noticed that I admired the colour of the stone in his yard... and so he gave it to me when he moved out.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
