Today, I was at the stove cooking pancakes - and burning my left hand while I did it! After I put my hand under cold running water, packed some ice on it, then gobbed on some honey and wrapped a bandage around it, I tried to make out this whole thing didn't happen... with it stinging and hurting like hell, it was hard to do.
But one look out the window, and I realised that Spring had sprung! So, out came the camera and I went running out into the garden after breakfast (which was a challenge in itself to just feed myself! Stop laughing, being a lefty, it was hard), and I took some lovely photos of the Frangipanni beginning to leaf, a dessert rose I bought last week looking good, the Geranium looking lovely and the very first leaves of my Gloxinia for the year poking through the dirt!
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
