This morning, I was up early and did some towels and hand-washing only to look at the skies and find it clouding up again...hmmm... out came the clothes horse and my laundry went inside (thankfully) where it's now drying.
Well, about an hour or so after I finished hanging it up, the power went out suddenly. Before it did, I heard a buzzing/humming sound around the air (it was really strange) and it was gone. After a few phone calls, the Body Corporate got somebody to fix it (and there was some confusion of who was going to fix it as two lots of guys came out).
Anyway, I got up to a fair bit of stuff while I had 2 hours or so to myself with a battery-powered radio sitting nearby... I cleaned up my tea cannister area, cleared away some counter space and worked on more pegs... then I edited and proofread some work for a couple of romance writers for a group I'm going to tomorrow morning. :D
Phew! The things we can get done without electricity! :D
