My Crafty Pegs go through three main steps to get to a stage where I sell them at the Creative Markets.
First, I buy them at Coles. They're just plain old wooden pegs... and I file down the dag off them, check them for thin bits on top, if they're going to split or break, or if they're not perfect. Imperfect ones go in the bin.
Then, I paint them... this is the fiddly part. I need a lot of patience for this part. It's fun, but it takes up hours of my time.
I then double-varnish them with spray varnish and wrap them up in celophane for the markets a set of a dozen. :D
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
Great shots. I viewed them in large they are so pretty and beautifully created designs I appreciate the time you spend on them as I make cards and they too are so time consuming.
