Gem Show at Avaiation High

Today, we were off to a gem show that Gabe and Kat were involved in at Aviation High School.

Just when I thought I'd see it all.... I hadn't!

I found these lovely jems to decorate my home and myself with. :D

I bought an oxen because there was a display there with all little figurines made for the Chinese Calendar... there were rats, roosters, pigs and other animals too... then, I spotted 3 of these oxen and picked out this one because he looked the most attractive, and I'm born in the year of the ox - 1973. :D

I have looked mine up and I am a wood rooster. He is a lovely jade ox great shot

@wendyfrost the one thing I was really happy to find was the freshwater pearl next to him there.... I was hanging out with family ( but they got talkign about a tv series I don't watch, so I thought to leave them to it and take a wander inside the building where a lot of other retailers were) and found this lovely one ready for a chain... I scored it for $5.00. :D

@wendyfrost I'm going to buy a proper chain at a jewelers for it... and get a parrot clip for it (a good strong clip) it's so pretty. :)
