Getting Back Into the Garden

Since the fence has been finished last week, I have been cleaning up my garden. Isn't it funny how one thing can make you really get in and do something. Now I have a decent fence, I can't wait to enjoy the fact I can hang stuff off it!

I bought a few new pots, used one that has been holding up parts of the old fence and bought 3 bags of potting mix to top up some of the pots. And now, the garden is beginning to look good - and just when the rains have begun to settle in at night too.
Everything is looking beautiful and healthy too pretty orange flower.

@wendyfrost Aahh, that flower is on my Jatropha plant.

This plant is originally from India where they grow it like we grow wheat. they use it as a bio-fuel - using the highly poisonous seeds' oil to run cars and other machinery at a very cheap rate instead of uranium or coal. :)

@wendyfrost Hhahaaa... I have a few of those hanging around the garden... the one in the big pot is my African Large Leaf Jade which was a housewarming gift from a fellow author from 12 years ago.

then the smaller leaf ones were created from other plants around the place... they just take to pots whenever I put them into the pots around the place. :D

@digitalrn Thanks. The one thing I'm not happy about is the Gloxinia. It died back very early this year... and I think it was because of the heat and how dry it became so quickly over Christmas and how little rain we had over that time too. So, I'll see how it'll go next year. If it doesn't come back next year, I'll know it died.
