I love cooking from scratch. Well, I love making the sauces from scratch anyway, and this is what I did last night. The pasta was bought, but it was geniune Italian pasta which doesn't need forever to cook.
I also made my own garlic butter and put it onto two pieces of sourdough bread, wrapped those in some foil and in the oven for 10 minutes... yummo!
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@digitalrn@wendyfrost thank you both for your lovely comments. Um... Wendy, it's all gone... I scoffed it all down... sorry. But there's a recipe:
sliced mushrooms
sliced pumpkin
torn-up baby spinach
paprika and salt'n'pepper
pasta of your choice.
Cook the pumpkin first, then the mushrooms with the paprika and wilt the spinach with the heat off and lid on the pan... wait for the pasta to cook, serve up and sprinkle parmesan cheese over with a sprinkle of chopped or dried parsley on top... yummo!
Garlic in the pan is also optional, but you don't have to have it. :D
