It wasn't a busy day, but I felt exhausted by the end of it and fed up.
Earlier in the week, my search for my ultimate hall table had come to an end and I laid eyes on it at Harvey Norman! Yay! I put $50 down on the it and asked Mum if I could borrow the remaining amount... she let me and I'm going to pay her back.
Well, on Friday, I happily went and picked up and hall table. Damn the thing was heavy!!! I got it up the stairs to my bedroom - where I was going to put it together - only to find one of the end was broken clean in half! I called Harvey Norman and reported what happened, sent photos via email and they were apologising profusely...
7:15am the next morning, the Harvey Norman guys arrived and picked it up... man! I have to wait until they get another for me this week.
Now I have all my stuff for my new hall table in 'Green Bags' next to my bed because I've moved everything to where it's supposed to be for that table...
The one thing I was told was that this break happened in transit... so I'm not at fault. They will deliver the table to me, to the very room I want it in and I won't be charged delivery or anything... all I have to do is be home. :D
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@digitalrn Aaah yes. But Harvey Norman has a reputation to uphold in service as they've been around for over 50 years. Wouldn't want to spoil that by having a customer go to the media saying they're crap. :)
