The other night, it got very cold, so I tried on a beanie Mum had bought and sent me from Robe in South Australia in their travels... I love it as it's so warm!
And I thought I looked a bit like an elf in it too! :P
So, it was time for a funny photo that night... :D
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@bkbinthecity@wendyfrost Thank you both for your lovely comments. I was really cold that night. And it has been pretty chilly lately. Anyway, I'm hoping it warms up at night as Spring approaches us here in Australia.
On Saturday, we had our coldest August day in a decade hitting 17 degrees Celsius, and it was raining and windy! Brrrrr! Well, I spent most of my day out and about then working at the Logan Art Gallery where a steel drum player entertained people and I won a dancing competition... of one of his cd's. :D
@mozette Lynda I have to smile reading your comment on it being 17C. It has been unusually hot here so when it cooled down to those temps it was sweet relief for us :)
@bkbinthecity In August, we're normally warming up during the day, not cooling down as it's coming into Spring. So, when we hit a very cold 17C, we were all surprised. :)
