This week, I've had my eye on the backyard to do a revamp on it. Yes, it's been slightly a little too neglected for my liking.
Plus, I've been working at the markets as a retailer for a while, and now, it's time to get back into the gardening section of my life.
So, today, I was out the door early and off to Bunnings to buy a large pot to use for a lovely idea. You see, I have some old pipe Dad dug up in his yard... so I'm going to fill the pot up with potting mix and plant those in at varying heights and put plants into them to make it a wonderful centerpiece in the garden.
This will replace the red seat against the fence; which is no longer safe to sit on because the legs are rotten... I've actually stopped people and children from sitting on it.
Then, I bought this lovely little plant to replace the other plant that was in the half-pot. this one loves the sun, will stay in the pot all year round and won't die because it doesn't need much watering... yay!
But this is only part one... part two will in be a couple of week's time. Or it might be this weekend. it depends what I pick up at the community centre at the plant sale.
