On the weekend, we had a really bad heatwave. On Saturday, it was 36C and on Saturday it was 40C... so, on Sunday, I kept my hair in plaits and wrapped them around my head, clipping them into place to keep them off my neck. It worked for a good part of the day, until I had 2 more cold showers to keep the heat off me and did the same thing again.
Boy, did I go through the Cranberry Juice and mineral water!

@brillomick On Sunday, I ended up sitting in my underwear in the computer room with the air conditioner going... but the heat was still around ... horrible stuff. :(
Then again, I think half of Brisbane and Queensland donned their underwear to beat the heat as well. :P
@brillomick@wendyfrost@digitalrn Thank you all for your lovely comments... yeah, Rick, there's no middle of the road here in Australia... it's either boiling hot or freezing cold. And we don't get used to it either. But you either get Aussies who love the cold or Aussie who love the heat... never any who like both. Me? Give me the cold any day because you always keep yourself warmer, but with the heat, you can only take off so many layers of clothes before you begin insulting people... :P
