Plaster Cast Workshop by mozette

Plaster Cast Workshop

Over the last two weeks - over 4 days - I've taken part in a plaster cast torso language expression workshop at the Logan Art Gallery.

It's been great fun to get down and dirty with art again... and at the gallery it was free to use all the things there too!

We had to make our torso from scratch and then put everything on it by hand.

The idea was to express what was inside us to the world. For me it was to tell everyone that books ruled my soul from the beginning of my time here on Earth, that no matter what, the written word is where everything came back to; and yes, a writer lives in their own little dream world, hoping to never wake up from it.

A dangerous way of thinking - I know - but a great wish don't you think?
An interesting medium of expression

@digitalrn @wendyfrost Thank you both for your lovely comments. I loved doing this piece, and we had photos taken of us working on our pieces and they have since hung them in the Logan Art Gallery for the opening this Friday night... I will be taking plenty of photos on that night. ... and posting them a day or so later. :D
