A Sombre Time

Tonight, my brother's girlfriend had to let her lovely dog, Jay, go over the Rainbow Bridge.

Poor Jay was in a lot of pain (was put on painkillers) and was 16 years young... a wonderful woofie who had lived a great life with a great Human who loved her dearly.

We all loved Jay, and so I'm very sad to say she's in our hearts now as she roams over the Rainbow Bridge with other pets we've owned in our lives.

It is indeed a sad time but the most humane thing that we can do for our loyal companions sometimes.
