After the huge deluge caused by Cyclone Debbie which hit Brisbane, Logan City, Beenleigh, Tweed Heads, The Gold Coast, Byron Bay and Lismore, we have a lot of cleaning up to do... mainly clearing trees that have fallen down due to the weight from water on the leaves and branches and roots.
This was a huge tree which had been here for over 20 years, and yet, it missed that house by inches when it fell down.
The people here usually sell veggies and fruit from their farm out the back - their very popular with people driving past. Now? Well, their stall was destroyed and the tree has to cleaned up.
There were other trees I saw around Tarragindi and Moorooka in Brisbane inner suburbs where I couldn't pull over to photograph them.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
