Burn

I'm on my second-last day of radiation treatment, and my elbow and arm are hot to touch, starting to blister and I'm very tired and sore.

I've been using Flamigel and sorbolene cream to sooth the burn, and I'm starting to take painkillers as well. It feels like a really awful sunburn, and it does hurt when I move it, touch it or bump it.

Upside: I get to ring the bell tomorrow!

I was lucky I never blistered. But I have a partially closed colon due to radiation, which limits what I can eat. Cancer is a gift that keeps giving. Stay strong this will pass.

@beverley365 strangely enough I found it hard to sleep last night. My arm was sore, but that wasn't it.
@365projectmaxine thank you. It's been a tiring time. But I wouldn't have been able to get through it without my folks and one wonderful friend who's been getting me out of the house. And my friends on Facebook and here.
