I took this photo yesterday in the park. Even though the colors in the photo had bright and beautiful green colors to represent joy and life, my mind saw this path as a dark and gloomy one that was filled with sadness and death. So today I experimented with the photo and created this image from my mind.
In the darkness I don’t know where the path is leading me, but I am going towards the light.
On the plus side I am loving that you managed to manipulate the photo so it looked as you saw it, and your really did a great job because it is so dark and gloomy. But I want to see the picture again one day when you reach the top and the sunlight and you turn around and look behind you..... Hugs coming your way.
Nicely done. I like your last line about darkness leading to light. Here is wishing that you take regular to long step up that path instead of baby steps.
I feel as though you're doing an art therapy project! My daughter, Heather, worked in that field for a time, and what you've done is exactly what she talked about! I hope this helps in the same way...
Wow.... that's a great job. It is one of those where to put the before and after together would have been very interesting. Keep climbing up.... the intense burst of light at the top will be such a delight after the dark journey. Photography is such an expressive art form when we push the boundaries a little....
Looks like, maybe, it could be the sorta of stair way that takes you DOWN..
I'm faving this.
Light trumps darkness!!
