Apparently, this has been the hottest Memorial Day weekend ever! It felt more like the Fourth of July.
Temperatures have been in the nineties for that last several days, equally troublesome is the lack of rain! I’m worried that this high heat will damage my flowers, so I’ve been watering each night. I took this today while riding to Carmel with my brother, my SIL, and her younger brother. My brother drove the scenic route, and he even stopped and turned around when I wanted to take a picture. I think he appreciates the hunt for the perfect photo too.
A picture of the sun setting seems to reflect the day the best.
What a beautiful image .... hot here too .... some folk already complaining after four days of soaring temperatures .... now ... "soaring" is relative. Our high today was 23 °C ....
i was out walking when the sun was setting.......you captured the heat in this shot! i mentioned to Ted when we saw the sunset how very hot it looked. i guess it's that orange color.
It does feel like the Fourth of July! I was outside Saturday and Sunday, and have been chilling indoors today! This is a great photo to show Indiana backing in the heat! I love the orange sky and bright yellow sun.
Awesome ... just love the colors and the silhouette! You're a master at these, Carla. Nice brother you have there! Very hot here too ... and humid. Yuck.
Wow- it was so hot here today hardly anybody was outside. The crazy weather continues!! Beautiful shot. It's fun when the family gets involved. My sister says that my brother-in-law had such fun showing me that covered bridge he has now scouted out a couple more for my next visit. That just tickles me pink!
Beautiful sunset...love it. Glad someone was brave enough to venture out in to the heat to capture this shot...I've been boarded up inside my way too cool house!!
