Monday I spent lunch experimenting with multiple exposures, but it didn't work at all. So when I got home and saw just how awful they were, I went outside to try to get something that I could post. This pine cone was in my neighbor's yard, I how it was lit by the evening light. I'm going to have to try multiple exposure some other time.
@kellc@emjay8 I have something very specific in mind, and now I'm not so sure I can get what I want. I'm definitely going to need a tripod and a remote, even resting the camera on a stone wall didn't work. And I may not be able to get what I want anyway, the powers that be are cracking down on who can use the facility that I want to use to make sense of the project - I know, that doesn't make any sense. At least I'm glad that I have good company when it comes to this failure. Kelly - this was taken with the DA300 wide open, looks like I have the focus adjusted correctly now.
@copperheadglass Thanks! At least I had a very good opportunity to redeem myself. And it looks like the focus on the lens is pretty good - this was taken with it wide open.
