Love to see how spring is gradually spreading upward. The aspen have leafed out but there's snow and ice higher up. The views higher up the road are just as incredible.
Mick - I wish I had thought of what your comment says yesterday - it gave me some ideas for pictures that I could have taken but most likely didn't. I'll go through some of my pictures to see if I couldn't crop or edit them to bring those ideas out. And I'll keep it in mind for the next couple of days. Thanks!
@copperheadglass Landscapes are incredibly easy when you are in such a beautiful location as one of the national parks. Most of the time I just point the camera in the direction I'm looking and push the shutter. In this case, I purposefully included the aspen on the right, and the dark pine (or is it a spruce?) on the left just happened. But I wasn't unhappy it was there, it helps frame the scene - not sure whether the aspen would have looked right if it wasn't framed this way. Another shot using the CPL.
