What I find interesting is that the picture looks much more saturated in the original version than the one uploaded here. This isn't the first place where I've seen greens loose their ooomph when uploaded somewhere, so I guess it's the nature of the color sometimes.
I'm finding it harder to get enthused about taking pictures with my back-up camera.
@kwind Thanks! I thought he looked rather like a jet that's about to take off. It's not really a macro, I was using a non-macro zoom lens and cropped to get it closer to macro.
@dmdfday Thanks! I'm normally running into the problem of not having enough dof, but that's not much of a problem with this fairly slow zoom lens. I don't often use a zoom, it's been interesting to shoot with it.
