Make hay while the sun shines

I had to take my on to the next town...which is usually a 70km round trip but due to a (very long) detour it added a extra 70km to the trip but it was through some unseen very scenic country side :) Sometime something that seems like an inconvenience can turn out to be a blessing :)

Wonderful...I have been waiting to take a shot like this, I see these bales from time to time and think that would make a nice pic. Your's is beautiful against that fluffy cloud sky.

@tesssa it is dry still, we have had a little rain but not enough. A few good downpours would please the farmer (and us :))

The framing of this is particularly nice. The bales look like giants. What's that red and white thing sitting in the grass? I can't figure it out.
