Snack Time!

This morning we found a cow in the shed that was stuck on her back. Once they're like this is takes a long time to get them back on their feet if you can at all. Time will tell if she'll be ok, we hope so as she has a six week old calf to look after. We spent all morning with her, while we were waiting the children were forking hay for the other cows to keep them quiet.

She looks very content. I hope she will be okay.

At least she is eating - A good sign I am sure. Fingers crossed. Love her spotty nose.

Oh I had no idea it was that dangerous for a cow to be on its back, I hope she's ok!

She looks a bit surprised by the attention she is getting. Great shot. I do hope all goes well.

@obiwan @streetlyend @louisefrance @redrucksack @trude @jantan @carolmw You'll be glad to know the cow seems to have recovered , her and the little one are doing well. She'd laid down on two levels and got stuck, wound herself up and tired herself out!
