When I came across this newly opened flower in the early morning, I couldn't resist shooting it. I love its buttery yellow color! This is the flower of a lady's finger plant. (Lady's finger is called okra in the U.S.A.) Isn't it pretty? It resembles a hibiscus because it's in the same family as the hibiscus flower.
There is a larger version if you'll like to see greater detail. 8)
Hi Livia, I am so cross that the whole window shot will not load fully, I think it is maybe too big; anyway if you do want to see the rest of the shots and please do not feel you have to; I had a space on the 16th June so I have dumped them there;0) Ain't technology great! http://365project.org/claireuk/365/2012-06-16
A great, big, buttery yellow, soft and silky, flowery "THANK YOU!" to everyone for stopping by! I may be distracted by the bugs and butterflies right now but I still can't resist shooting beautiful flowers when I see them. Thank you so much for your comments. I am grateful!
Hi Honey, I took my comment off your trail manners shot, I wasn't about to get into a row with anyone; I was thinking about the lady who let her dog off, when I was visiting my park with the swans, I posted my comment at the same time as Robert, so hadn't even seen his comment.
