I realized that, since getting addicted to macro shots, green has become the dominant color in my calendar view. But I like colors, so I think I need to stop every now and then and inject some color into my project. 8)
Just over a month on 365, and I have become macro addicted as well. I used to carry my long lens in my camera bag, without good results. Now, I travel w/long lens on all the time. My christmas list includes a macro lens. Nice inspiration.
I`m very impressed the way you use your creativity to surprise us with every time such great photo`s .
Thank you very much for you very kind comment. Our weather is great and then I`ll have you nice comment to it , live is beautiful .
Very cool effect - they get both names here too - I love the variety of your captures and the little intro to each one - 365 is in every way a learning experience!
Cool stuff Livia, totally different but still a bug shot :)
Not tempted to use this as profile shot like the January one used to be? I think it would be so appropriate - not that I don't like your current one mind :)
Funny, as I was wondering why the name is different in different places. Love this photo, Livia. How did you do this? I would love to be able to shoot macro shots like you do. I never get tired of them.
Ooh, more bug shots, haha! I was wondering when you were going to do another one of these. I loved the first one and I love this one, too. Very cute paper and super photo. I think of you everytime I go to "Paper Source" and see the amazing papers they sell.
Did you use a sheet of paper with the ladybug design on it and roll it into a type of cone to get this effect? whatever or whichever way I love it. great effect.
@bruni@darsphotos Yes, I just rolled up a piece of paper with the ladybird print, made sure one end was wider than the other, stuck my camera lens in the wider end and hit the shutter button. It was fun! 8)
I remember your previous shot and thinking, "I could do that!" Still haven't tried it, but now, maybe I will - we're due for lots of showers over the next few days - will probably be doing an inside shot - love the colors!
Fun shot! I remember the other one you did, very cool effect! I love lady whatsits...I am constantly getting corrected by the kids for calling them the wrong name!
I loved this the first time you did it, and I love this one too. Now, I'm not going to copy you, but you've given me an idea. Well done for taking the no green challenge!! I love your work Livia, and your narrative makes me smile, laugh, go grrr when you are self deprecating, but most of all makes me say, "that's bloody good, she did it again!" For me, Singapore means Gin Sling at Raffles. They're not green if you need an idea!!
A great, big, ladybird-red, ladybug-cute, swirly and bright "THANK YOU!" to all! I'm glad to know that some of you remember the first time I did this. It's a lot of fun to make a shot like this, so I hope you all try it. Thank you very much for your visits and comments. Please know that I am grateful for your constant, kind support. It keeps me going. Thank you!

This is so fantastic - love the bright nongreen color and yet you some how still snuck in the bugs (I mean beetles).
I LOVE seeing your shots!
