It's a mosaic wall at a park I go to. This T-shirt is a favorite of mine. It's a simple white shirt with a simple graphic of a grey storm cloud, complete with lightning bolt and an angry face. Depicts my default mood wonderfully. I wear this shirt in the hope that people will steer clear of me. Even though I believe my default face should be enough of a deterrent. 8D
August is over! I've mixed it up for a month, trying a few new things, getting out of my comfort zone etc. And now the calendar thumbnails look colorful and weird. 8P
Come September, I'm going back to my old ways, the shots will be mostly green. Will be mostly bugs and spiders. It'll be boring. If bugs and spiders are not your thing, I highly recommend un-following me. 8)
Love the mosaic. I had a similar t-shirt--with a crazy looking cat and the caption, "I AM PERFECTLY CALM". Guess I wore it too much, had to throw it away because it was worn out ; (

When I look at your calendar, I see wonderful soft and calm colours. When I look at mine, I see hard, strong, dark ones. It's hard to imagine someone who takes such delicate pictures can have Chronic Bitchface Syndrome lol Looking forward to your images next month!

@bardejov Heh. I have another T-shirt I wear often, it's black, and says "DEATH" in big grey letters across the chest. Then, in smaller letters, it says "our nation's number one killer". I love it, but always have to remind myself not to wear it if I'm going to the clinic or hospital. XD

@espyetta Nope, I didn't edit or clone my face out, this shot was the only one of about 7 or 8 that turned out like that! The rest showed my face (which was behind the camera anyway). I think that piece of mosaic must have been sticking up at a slight angle or something. Lucky me! XD
Love the mosaic, your selfie T-shirt, and your ever so wry commentary! You remind me of Lemony Snicket, a children's author of A Series of Unfortunate Events. In the preface of every book, he says something to the effect "If you're looking for a cheerful, happy book filled with all kinds of wonderful things happening to the orphans, you're in for a big disappointment. This book will bring the orphans nothing but misery and despair. You'd be better off by putting down this book and finding something that will make you happy and joyous." My students always think this is the funniest thing - they always say, "Why does he always warn us not to read his books - they're all so funny!" KInd of like you Livia - you tell us how pessimistic you are and how we'll all be bored with your green bug photos, but we love your sense of humor and your wonderful photos! I, too, am looking forward to seeing more jumping spiders!
I have to fav this for the fact that you captured it in such a way that the one tile that should reflect your face is clearly not doing so. Awesome composition, detail and lighting. Love the shirt too. By the way...your calender view for August is great. But can't wait for more spiders.
Cracked up by CBF! Enjoy following you, for your photos and your comments. We love funky, different shirts in our family. One of the funniest was one that wasn't even meant to be funny. My pregnant S-I-L came to visit and wondered why she was getting some looks in the airports - her t-shirt said DIE BURGER. In South Africa where she is from its one of the daily newspapers, it reads differently in Afrikaans.
