Today it is Good Friday and I reminded of the greatest love story ever written. It is when God demonstrates His love for me (and you). I don't deserve His love, I can't earn it, inherit, or buy it. It doesn't matter if I'm male or female, young or old, what the color of my skin, what country I live in, or how rich or poor my family is. God demonstrates His love for us, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
You can read it for yourself - don't take my word for it, nor dismiss it because I say so.
Look it up!
Your simplicity is perfection. I thought so hard about how to set up a Good Friday photo. Your photo has shown me that it's not necessary to overthink some things :) May you have a meaningful Easter weekend
Beautiful shot of your Bible and a wonderful narrative, Kathy! I have read that book cover to cover just once and hope to do it at least four more times before I leave this world. It really is full of wisdom and purpose, history and lessons. So much in there - the wonderful world of God's Will, Law and most of all, Love. God bless you, gal! Hugs!
Beautiful simplicity in this shot and in the story of God's love for us! It really is just as simple as that... He gave his Son for us so we could have eternal life... easy-peasy!
