Get Pushed Challenge - Landscape - B&W (If you have a moment please view large)
This is my first attempt - hope to get some more shots for this challenge.
Paul Myers my Get Pushed Challenge partner for the week had this to say:
"After looking over your album, I saw some landscapes, but not a whole lot of them and of what I saw, I saw even less B&W shots. So here's your challenge.
B&W landscapes. Try to think like Ansel Adams and get as many of the 14 tonal ranges as possible. Think contrast. Good luck."
Looking forward to others. I like this one. You've recreated the original quite closely. I think the contrast is nice, as there isn't a whole lot of grey. 14 tonal range means you have pure white and pure black and different shades of gray in between. Usually, if you don't, you have a lot of those gray shades in the middle. This looks really good.
Did the next get-pushed challenge already start? Didn't get a mention and can't find neither.
As for your photo: should be viewed large, else there is too much contrast and too little details. In large view it's a beautiful one, maybe a bit overexposed, but this kind of situations is very difficult for the high contrast and the light and dark side of every leaf.
@djepie It was posted but you were missed. He tried to clean up the list and posted asking who wanted to continue under the category tips, I almost missed that post. I see recently you posted on their but he didn't see it. There is someone on their who needs a partner on the new Get pushed 7 posted. Otherwise perhaps I would take on two get pushed challenges for this week and I'll take one from you and the other person I'm partnered with. Let me know.
@djepie Actually I see that Jase is no longer on 365 and Northy has taken over the challenges. She may have missed that you requested to be added. I will mention that you want to be added.
