It actually gets glorious in November! I wish the leaves would stay but they will be down by this weekend. So much interest in this image - the detail in the bark, the colors in the background and the shapes of the branches. Great capture as Fall is nearing its end.
Very pretty! There are still a couple hold outs here too- but it's very obvious the temperature is getting colder, so that means their days are numbered.
I like how solid the tree feels in this crop, like a promise that it will remain dependably there over the seasons and how the yellow and red leaves have "air" as if their place in this scene is temporary.
