My First Portrait

So my get-pushed challenge this week was a colorful portrait. Does it matter if I took it when I was 8 years old? This pic is In honor of the 50th anniversary of the New York Worlds Fair and Throw Back Thursday.
My Dad was an awesome documenter of our lives with his Voitlander Vitessa camera.( I still have it!) He let me take some slide shots at the Fair.That's my model..my brother Tony.Yes I cut off his feet,there is light leakage and a street pole coming out of his shoulder.But still...not bad for and 8 year old.Thanks Dad,if you are looking down ...for sharing your love of art and photography with me.:)

Not bad for 8! I had a Kodak Instamatic camera which I took pictures of the fair with (LOL another point and shoot!!) and my photography skills were almost as good as yours. I didn't cut off the feet though- I cut off heads. (o:
