A group of chipmunks is ( appropriately) called a scurry. I have a big scurry of them in the rock wall surrounding my property. My husband estimates that they grab half of the seeds that he puts out for the birds. One day the rock wall will burst and a waterfall of seeds will tumble out!
We have the same thing going on here with chipmunks and a wall! They are so fun to watch, though. Bright, shiny eyes – always so busy – I actually enjoy them! Your picture is wonderful!
