Iris

Iris do not do well at all in my garden. I spotted this beautiful bloom while shopping at the local garden center. They are my favorite flower.

@grammyn Iris need at least 6 hours of sun and well drained soil. Our soil is too rich and the woodland property that the cabin sits on is way too shady. Sadly.

@mzzhope I thought it might be because of the shade which keeps your home cool in the summer months but does not allow some things to grow as you would like!
