This is my neighbor the artist, who creates mixed media collages. My Push partner Thomas has asked me to photograph a human face showing emotion. She was happy to have her photo taken and *happy* to make a sale.:) I wanted to do a black and white portrait..but how could I have converted her great hair? I'll find another victim tomorrow.

@thomastoth very strange Thomas!I spend lots of time crawling on the ground looking for tiny compositions of things.I must look very crazy.It was hard to tap into my "zone" photographing an human.Didn't want to get to close etc.But this lady was a super subject!Very open and willing.Perhaps because she is an artist.I am grateful for the push.Probably would have gone the whole year with no adult portraits! I will continue to get more comfy with portraits now!
@mzzhope I feel the same way about nature and landscape. I can't get in the zone, but I love people! And Photoshop! Lol! Not that big a fan of natural light either...I can't control it as easily as my studio lighting.
