@ikamera @francoise thanks ladies.When spiders grow,their outer ("skin")exoskeleton does not.They must shed it .When they are newly shed they are soft and vulnerable until their new exoskeleton hardens.

It reminds me of soft shell crabs -- same process. Striking against the dark background.
