I have no idea how many black oil sunflower seeds my hubby goes through each year . He sets the alarm clock for crack-of-dawn to put the bird feeder out all winter ( we can’t keep it up all night because of the night critters)
For the minimal challenge
Wow! I do t remember the last time I saw a mouse. We do get chipmunks at the feeder, though. My issue with ornamental or veggie planting in spring is the deer.
A lovely minimal shot. I put out food for the birds and squirrels and I think the squirrels eat it all...and what is leftover is a buffet for rats No, no, NO!). Ugh!
@gardenfolk lol. We have chipmunks that have learned how to squeeze into the feeder and stuff their cheeks with seeds. I need to try to get a shot of one.
