Don't know why this plant is called that...but it is.You can see a bit of the blue this pretty little flower will be after it blooms.For pattern and texture month.

I grew up where bachelor buttons were wild and sedlom see them anymore. I have to confess that I never paid attention to them at all when they were in this stage! What a terrific captrue of the detail and symmetry of the bud! FAV
