I am really trying to find the love for my 50mm.It is so light-weight! But I never find myself reaching for this lens. I really want to take it with my on my next trip instead of my macro (which weighs a ton!) Does anyone else find their nifty 50 not so nifty? If you like yours..do you use it often?
I love this Hope. You are inspiring me. I have a 50 mm too that I rarely reach for. It's a great lens. I think I'm just lazy and stick with my everyday zoom lens
This is very pretty! I have been using my 35mm (which is 52.5 on my camera) every day since in September for Richard's NF-SOOC-September challenge. You may get some ideas by clicking on one of the tags. I have been coveting a macro lens, though!
Great low POV. Definitely should join the 50mm back to basics. I am using it more, just because of how much lighter it is to carry, and so versatile. Thanks for your kind comments on the flowers -- they would have been so different looking with the macro! So, I'm finding the 50's use is reinforcing.
I love mine - when I remember to use it! In fact, I forced myself to use it more this summer and took only the 50mm to a wedding. It was light, could fit into a purse, even on a full frame camera and very versatile.
