This morning, I found a puddle. I had my camera. I got over my thought of looking silly crouched over a random puddle in a parking lot. I took some pictures.
That was the moment my friend drove up and asked what I could possibly be doing hunched over a puddle. I just showed her the picture. She responded, "This must be for your 365 project." Yes, yes it was. I love the fact that I am trying so many new things!
Thank you for stopping by and for your comments. I read and appreciate each and every one. Critiques are always welcome as that is how I learn.
Thank you all so much for all your positive comments on this photograph (and all the others). The comments mean a lot to me! Without this community, I never would have thought to take a shot like this one. So, thank you for that as well!
Wow wonderful!! Well done.
(My neighbour was apparently on the verge of coming out to see if I was ok one day, crouched down on the floor and swaying from side to side... then she spotted the camera...!!)
Well -- for a "puddle" that's pretty darn amazing! Looks bigger than a puddle, though! Wonderful reflections, and fav for me! Good job, and glad you didn't let embarrassment keep you from capturing it!
Superb result! Now you know you should't worry about what other people are thinking, just have fun! If you do, you will get more great images like this one.
I tend not to do mass thank preferring to state my thank you up front because I am grateful for every person who stops by and every person who takes the time to comment and every person who fav's the image. But for the amazing reaction to this photograph, I want to say thank you again. All of you give me such encouragement and inspiration! You are the best.
Fabulous shot, such a calm reflection............. Instafav and congrats on the PP.
Nest time you get this good of a shot with a reflection try posting it upside down ( see if anyone notices)
Since I am new here, I have realized that many of my new followers found me on the browse page. Rows of thumbnails update by the minute with all the new uploads on the site. The eye gravitates to something unique in a thumbnail.....that is an added bonus.
@welcometocarolworld Thank you for the explanation. That makes sense. I browse that way but hadn't really thought about what made me click on certain pictures vs. others.

@ariel817 It was a good sized puddle. A good 5-6 feet across. Kind of the dip in the parking lot where the rainwater pools.
@welcometocarolworld Newbie question. Does that mean that the image is still clear and pleasant to look at in the thumbnail size?
@michaelelliott Yes, I caught this bug from Rich and the NYC bug from you. :)
