Street photography is hard! Those guys spotted me on my second photo of them and started waiving and laughing. They are having lunch in what is left of St Dunstan-in-the-East church. It's a very picturesque place if not for sandwiches chewing crowds. I have to go there again earlier in the morning.
P.S. I was inspired by this photo: http://365project.org/melissachi/365/2011-05-17
Thank you, Melissa!
this is gorgeous!!! i love love LOVE how they are framed in the shot because of the arch. That back wall with the green tinge...and all the ivy....so pretty!!! i like how the guy are just enjoying themselves and having a good time........i just LOVE everything about this picture actually! haha. I HAVE TO FAV!! GORGEOUS!
That is really nice; the 'frame within a frame' effect and those lovely colours. But for the modern clothes it could have been a classical painting! Fav for me, too!
Wow. Fantastic framing on this. I hate it when they notice. I love it better when people are natural and not posing. Generally you cannot get that if they know about it. lol
Oh, thanks for the mention; you are so sweet! I really love this photo. It has your signature symmetry / architecture that I love so much, combined with the people in those 3 different poses. Awesome!!
I like this photo very much. It is well composed and the subject is interesting. The colours are balanced and the moment is beautifully captured. Hmm. If I could take this opportunity to talk to Cindy Ford... please learn some words and save "Awesome" for your first sight of God.
I hope my comment did not offend you, as it obviously did someone else. This is a wonderful image! I love the look of the architecture, the color tones, the subject matter of the men enjoying themselves and the natural framing with the greens. I wanted you to know how much I loved it! A fave!
But great that you got this shot before they noticed you, its just so perfect. The way the middle guy is leaning down is great composition, and they are perfectly framed. What a beautiful place to have a lunch break. A favourite for me.
Some how I missed this shot and then found it on the pop page! And well deserved, can't say much more than has been said above. It has everything framing, contrasts, beautiful composition and a tinge of humour. Great shot!
@cdford
Of course it didn't offend me! I was going down the comments list and when I saw "awesome" so many times from you - I knew it was a good photo :) Thank you for both of your comments and a fave!
