@olivetreeann I had that same issue at my last house, Ann, but in my new place they seem very tame. They have no issue with me getting within a foot or so. This guy was hanging out on a tree so perhaps he felt a little camouflaged. I think they are more concerned with the competition from the other hummingbirds in the neighborhood!
